To the core, I believe in the value of photographs. I also believe in the travel high, heavy weights and big bowls of pasta accompanied by long conversations. Because life should be an exploration. California roots influence my relaxed nature while 2 decades in the South have taught me to embrace all the details that allow people to feel at home. A mellow but assured personality helps my clients feel relaxed and confident while we work together. Through career experiences including a past life in healthcare and 9 years in the wedding industry, I’ve built the skill of understanding others needs in order to marry an enjoyable experience with the art of photography.

craftsmanship. I will work to capture you using a detail driven style influenced by pure human connection. It’s the little things, they truly add up. Using the power of instinct and empathy to be sensitively aware of important moments, I take great pride in creating beautiful photos all while allowing these opportunities to develop and present themselves naturally. Giving your wedding the freedom to unfold just as it should, all while serving as a support to you and your loved ones allows me to create the best images possible. I do not believe in cookie cutter events, photography formulas or a single approach to relationship dynamics. One of our specialties is taking the time to connect with our clients, their families, vendor teams and the range of energies each event walks through. Creating this intimacy with the project and our clients results in a positive experience and image story that everyone gets to enjoy. We will make the most of what you want out of your wedding day, minimize your stress, create the best image opportunities and leave space for joy.
Customized Approach
You want to know that you are in good hands before and after your wedding, and so do we. Our studio manager oversees messages and assists Sarah in providing an array of services for our couples including answering your questions as they arise, planning updates + logistics, scheduling, album guidance and generally making sure your needs are taken care of with attentiveness.
Concierge Communication
We see weddings as a team effort, and take pride in working seamlessly with all of your vendors to serve you. My team and I will do our absolute best to execute our job effectively alongside whoever you have chosen to hire from your wedding planner to the videographer. Flexible and friendly while knowledgeable and directive when leadership is needed, not a minute will go by that we are not working in your best interest while in pursuit of the most authentic and beautiful photos.
Collaboration
Because it’s about the smiles, laughter, bomb dance moves and tiny teardrops. It’s also about the shoes that make the outfit, the aperitif you tested until perfection and the buzz of the band’s brass over your custom dance floor. We see weddings as a collection of emotion and design dancing in harmony to create the story of your celebration - and that you should have it all. Photography with us is defined by a thorough attention to detail and passion for honest human connection that yields a comprehensive array of photos across each component of your weekend.
Comprehensive Coverage
Preserve and share your images the way they were meant to be experienced, with the turn of a page. Selected photos are artfully organized and printed using archival papers and inks, carefully bound in the best materials from linen to leather and paired with a matching protective box. We use our expertise to design your keepsake album from cover to cover and collaborate with you to select the customized binding details, while each step of production employs a handcrafted process with our partner bindery before the finished piece arrives at your door. Fine art prints and film negatives are also available.
Hand Crafted Albums
Destination weddings are our specialty. You are free to save yourself the worry that might come with hiring vendors that need to travel to your event location(s) and rest in knowing that we will take care of getting there - ahead of the wedding. Sarah and her team arrange transportation for 90% of our weddings each year. The team creates plans and schedules that account for potential travel challenges, rest to bring our best and space to become familiar with your properties & logistics ahead of time.
Travel
Plans changed since booking? No problem. We understand that events often evolve throughout the planning process and the scope of your coverage may need to adapt to suit. Though all bookings come with a minimum of 10 hours of wedding day coverage, we are happy to allow the addition of time to your photography services at a moments notice. Sarah limits the amount of customers booked per year which allows us to serve your full weekend without the need for allocating time to other clients. We are dedicated to your dates in the days before and after your events and can typically accommodate updated coverage requests.
Booking Flexibility
Offerings
We often arrive before wedding day to capture additional events ahead of nuptials. Coverage can serve several celebrations including engagement parties, bridal lunches, pre wedding activities, welcome parties and rehearsal dinners. We do not accept assignments with more than one couple per weekend in order to provide dedicated availability and attention to our clients. Engagement sessions are also available, and yes we travel for these too!
